Replacing a Cooling Fan
NOTE:
The procedure for installing each individual fan is the same.

Ensure that the fan handle is upright and lower the fan into its retention base until the fan is fully
seated. Then lower the fan handle until it snaps into place. See Figure 3-4.

Close the system. See "Closing the System" on page 47.
Cooling Shrouds
The three cooling shrouds direct airflow within the system.
Removing the Cooling Shrouds
NOTICE:
Do not remove the cooling shrouds if the system is turned on. The cooling shrouds must be installed to
direct the airflow from the fans.

First, remove the top cooling shroud by using the finger holes to lift the shroud straight up from the
system. See Figure 3-5.

Remove the left and right cooling shrouds as necessary to access the interior of the system.
