Verifying your firewall policies
For the appliance to function correctly, you must open ports on your external (Internet-facing) and internal firewalls.
External firewall
For secure access to the appliance from a Web browser or OnDemand, you must make sure that ports 80 and 443 are open on
firewalls at your site. Opening your firewall to permit SSH access is optional, but can be useful for performing administrative
tasks from a remote system.
