CAUTION:
Be careful when changing the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users. Any change
in the setting could prevent your system from starting correctly and you might have potential loss of data.
Disable a forgotten password
The software security features of the system include a system password and a setup password. The password jumper enables or disables
password features and clears any passwords currently in use.
Prerequisites

Steps
1. Power off the system, and all the attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the system cover.
3. Move the jumper on the system board from pins 2 and 4 to pins 4 and 6.
4. Move the jumper on the system board from pins 1 and 2 to pins 2 and 3.
5. Replace the system cover.
