Prerequisites

Follow the safety guidelines listed in

Power off the system and all attached peripherals.

Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and disconnect the peripherals.

Place the system on a flat, stable surface.

Steps

Use a 1/4-inch flat head or a Phillips #2 screwdriver to turn the cover release latch counterclockwise to the unlock position.

Press the cover release latch, and remove the system cover.
