Hold the expansion card by its edges, and pull the card up to remove it from the expansion card connector and the system.

Install the filler bracket by performing the following steps:
a Align the expansion card filler bracket with the slot on the system.
b Push the expansion card filler bracket downwards until firmly seated.
c Close the blue expansion card retention latch by pushing the latch up until the latch snaps into place.
NOTE:
Filler brackets must be installed in empty expansion-card slots to maintain FCC certification of the system. The
brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in proper cooling and airflow inside the system.

Open the expansion card retention latch.

Remove the existing expansion card or filler bracket from the slot.
NOTE:
Store this bracket for future use. Filler brackets must be installed in empty expansion-card slots to maintain FCC
certification of the system. The brackets also keep dust and dirt out of the system and aid in proper cooling and airflow
inside the system.

Holding the card by its edges, align the card with the expansion card connector on the system board.

Insert the card firmly into the expansion card connector until the card is firmly seated.

Close the expansion card retention latch by pushing the latch down until the latch snaps into place.
