Installing and removing system components

Hard disk drive (HDD) trays

The HDD tray is only available for full width and JBOD servers. 

Removing HDD tray

Prerequisites

1

Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.

Steps

1

Grasp the tray handle with one hand, and use your thumb to push the plunger up to release the HDD tray.

2

Continue to hold the plunger and use the tray handle to pull the tray out from the chassis.
