CAUTION:
If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack

manufacturer. For more information, see your product documentation.
• Your rack kit has been approved only for the rack cabinet provided. It is your responsibility to ensure
that installation of the equipment into any other rack complies with all applicable standards. Dell
disclaims all liability and warranties with respect to combinations of equipment with any other rack.
• Before installing your equipment in a rack, install all front and side stabilizers. Failure to install
stabilizers can allow the rack to tip over.
• Always load from the bottom up, and load the heaviest items first.
• Do not overload the AC power supply branch circuit that provides power to the rack.
• Do not stand or step on any components in the rack.
WARNING: Slide/rail mounted equipment is not to be used as a shelf or work space
• Before working on the rack, ensure that the stabilizers are secured to the rack, extended to the floor,
and that the full weight of the rack rests on the floor. Install front and side stabilizers on a single rack or
front stabilizers for joined multiple racks before working on the rack.
• After installing equipment/components in a rack, never pull more than one component out of the rack
on its slide assemblies at one time.
• The weight of more than one extended component could cause the rack to tip over and may result in
serious injury.
Do not add weight to slide or rail-mounted equipment.
