Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover .
2. Remove the battery .
3. Follow the procedure form step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive .
4. Remove the fan .
5. Remove the keyboard .
6. Remove the base frame .
7. Remove the heat sink .
8. Remove the I/O board .
9. Remove the speakers .
10. Remove the display assembly .
11. Remove the power-adapter port .
12. Remove the status-light board .
Procedure
1. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the palm rest.

2. Lift the system board from the inner edge and release the ports from the slots on the palm rest .
