Removing the Display Assembly

Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover .
2. Remove the battery .
3. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive .
4. Remove the fan .
5. Remove the keyboard .
6. Remove the base frame .
Procedure
1. Disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless card.
2. Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the palm-rest assembly.
a. screws (3)
b. display hinges (2)
3. Rotate the palm-rest assembly upward.
4. Slide out and remove the palm-rest assembly off the display hinges.
