2.3 Connecting the camera to a network
equipment supporting PoE/PoE+
There are two ways of connecting the camera
to the PoE/PoE+ network by using:

PoE router.
For DeLaval network, it is recommended to
use Ubiquiti Edge Router ER-4.
n
PoE switch
For DeLaval network, it is recommended to
use Ethernet office switch PoE 8 ports
(2150018378).
1.
Connect the "Y" cable (
"3"
) as a power
and Ethernet source for the camera.
Note! The antenna is not needed in this
configuration.
2.
Plug in the "Y" cable (
"3"
) to the PoE/PoE
+ router/switch (
"4"
).
3.
Open the Delaval FMC-IP Software.

Follow steps described in

The camera connects to the network
via PoE/PoE+ device.
FMC 1.1 is designed with POE stand-
ard IEEE 802.3bt, 48 V.
