Functions allowed:
1 function on the same terminal.
Restrictions:
•
Only 1 function or multiple alarms are allowed to be configured.
•
You cannot use a function if it is assigned and used in CustomLogic.
Notes:
The same function can be assigned to other digital output (DO) terminals.
7.6.3 Selecting a hardware module
Before you can configure the I/O settings, select the rack (optional) and the hardware module in the controller.

The hardware modules shown vary depending on controller type or hardware modules installed. The hardware selection
screen shows the same hardware modules as you have installed in the controller.

Basic details about the available I/Os on the module are shown at the right.
Selecting a hardware module
To select the hardware module, perform the following steps:
1.

: To move between the controller and extension unit, select
Up
or
Down
, by pressing

Select the controller or extension unit by pressing
OK
.

This step is only required if there are extension units connected to the controller.
2. To move between the hardware modules, select
Left
or
Right
, by pressing

Basic information about the selected hardware module is shown at the right.
3. Select the highlighted hardware module by pressing
OK
.

The I/O terminals for the hardware module are displayed on screen.
7.6.4 View or configure hardware module I/O terminals
After selecting the hardware module, the details of the available terminals are shown on the display.
