Regulations for commissioning installations for France
F30 biofuel is available in France from 01/07/2022.
Decree No. 2022-8 of 5 January 2022 of the Ministry for Energy Transition currently in force relating to F30 biofuel stipulates
that:
It is prohibited to install equipment which uses fuels emitting over 300 g CO
2
eq/kWh LHV based on life cycle assessment.
New boilers running on biofuels shall be permitted, provided that this threshold is respected.
Repair work on existing boilers shall still be possible.
