Troubleshooting
No picture
Cause
1.
Check the Input voltage
2.
Check the continuity on the multicore cable using the following data:
Pin1 - Video signal
Pin2 - Video screen
Pin3 - Data 1 (yellow)
Pin4 - Data 2 (green)
Pin5 - 24V neutral (blue)
Pin6 - 24V live (brown)
Pin7 - Earth
3.
Check the dome address switches are correctly set for the controller being used.
Picture with intermittent control
Cause
This is most likely due to too much or too little video gain.
Co-ax
Dome in co-ax mode requires video level be set to 1V p-p.
1.
Open the Technician menu (see Operation and Programming manual for details on
accessing the menu).
2.
Select ‘Miscellaneous Services’
3.
Select ‘Host Comms/Video Amp’.
4.
Adjust lift and gain settings.
Dome spins continuously (DM controllers)
Cause
No joystick dead band recognized as joystick was off centre during powerup.
Solution
Reboot the controller with the joystick self centred.
