Sidewalk
• Be careful not to bump into pedestrians and
obstructions.
• Adjust your operation to suit the road surface
conditions.
Up and down a level difference
• Learn how to safely maneuver up and down
a curb and know the limits.
• Stop your wheelchair before a curb, and
then proceed carefully.
Crosswalk
• Allow sufficient time to cross the road at a
crosswalk.
• Be careful with the curb between the road and
the sidewalk.
Slope
• Get the feel of riding up and down a slope.
• Restart carefully on an uphill.
