Slide the filter unit under the fryers to
be filtered. Ensure fry vessel drains
are aligned with the openings in the
filter lid assembly.

Sprinkle Magnasol Powder into the
fry vessel and stir the oil. Do not
sprinkle this powder in the filter pan.
d.
Go to Section 4-6, Operation, and
continue.
4.6
OPERATION:
Figure 4-1 shows a Super Cascade Filter
installed and ready for operation. When
filtering, follow these steps:
a.
Disconnect filter from fryer. Follow
the appropriate Sections 4.3 and 4.4,
or Section 4.5 to prepare your filter for
operation.
b.
Then connect the filter return line
connector into the quick disconnect in
the fryer return line.
c.
Next turn the fryer main power switch
to the “OFF” position.
d.
2424SCF (Only): If equipped with a
optional heater, before filtering, turn
the filter switch to the heater “HTR”
position for a few minutes in order to
melt the solid shortening in the pump
WARNING!
THE OIL TEMPERATURE OF THE
FRYER TO BE FILTERED SHOULD
BE AROUND 350°F (175°C). ENSURE
HOSES ARE CONNECTED
PROPERLY AND DRAIN HANDLES
ARE IN PROPER POSITIONS PRIOR
TO OPERATING ANY SWITCHES
OR VALVES. FAILURE TO DO THIS
CAN RESULT IN SEVERE BURNS.
CAUTION
BEFORE TURNING FILTER SWITCH
“ON” OR TO HEATER POSITION,
ENSURE QUICK DISCONNECTS ARE
CONNECTED PROPERLY OR
SERIOUS INJURY MAY OCCUR.
