Push the bearing down the shaft so that it rests at the bottom
(see dotted red line).
Slide the 1680 ball bearing over the main shaft. It doesn’t matter
which way the ball bearing goes.
Make sure that the E-ring is positioned so that the rounded
surface is facing upward.
Once the bearing is sitting flush to the bottom of the shaft, fit
the E7 E-ring on top of it (see dotted red line).
Prepare the 46T gear you built in Stage 1, and check that the
three screws are fully tightened. If any are loose, simply tighten
them with a screwdriver.
Clip the E-ring into place with needle-nose pliers.
