Insert the pillion footrest pivot into the
hole in the bracket, and push it through
as far as you can.
Swivel the footrest up and down, as
indicated above, to check that it is free
to move.
Use pliers wrapped in masking tape to
squeeze the pivot all the way through
the footrest and bracket.
Align the hole in the pillion footrest
bracket with the hole in the silencer.
Insert a type P screw into the hole in
the bracket.
Check that the footrest is free
to move.
Tighten the screw to fix the bracket
in place.
