Pass a type N screw through the free end of the spring.
Tighten the screw into the hole until the spring is in
contact with the frame lug.
Insert the end of the screw into the indicated hole.
Take one of the footrests and one of the footrest
rubbers, and line up the flat side of the thin end of the
footrest with the flat side of the hole in the rubber.
Swivel the side stand up and down to check that it is
free to move but properly secured.
Push the footrest fully into the rubber. Once that is
done, repeat the process for the second footrest.
