4.2.2 Cable connection

After the equipment is in place, refer to Figure 6 for how to connect the cable

to the DV-302 rear panel.

4.2.3 Connecting Ethernet Cable

The Straight cable is also used to connect the LAN port to a terminal-like workstation, PC, or

notebook. When connecting the LAN port to a HUB, Straight-through or Crossover

unshielded twisted pair (UTP) category 5 cables can be used as shown in Figure 8.

NOTE

Maximum length of RJ-45 should be less than 85m.
