Exporting Programs and Banks
Exporting Programs and Banks
You can use the
pgm
dump
command in the
globals
section
to transmit the
current program, bank, or all banks in SysEx format via the selected
MIDI port. This allows you to save your programs so that you can share
them or archive them.
To export a program or bank as a SysEx file over MIDI:
1. Press the
globals
button
once (this enables the upper set of parameters)
then press program selector 8 to select the
midi
sysex
command.
2. Use the
bank
/
decrement
and
tens
/
increment
buttons to select the
appropriate MIDI port — MIDI (
MID
)
or USB (
usb
)
.
3. Press
globals
a second time (this enables the lower set of parameters)
then press program selector 8 to select the
pgm
dump
command. The
write
button begins flashing.
4. Use the
bank
/
decrement
and
tens
/
increment
buttons to select the
desired option — program
(
PRO
)
, tens
(
ten
)
, bank
(
ban
)
, user banks
(
USR
), all
(
all
)
.
5. Press
write
. The program or bank is exported.
Dumped programs will load back into the same bank and program location in
memory when received by the OB-6 via MIDI.
