DATA MANAGEMENT
Collecting and saving information
The Cardiocap/5 monitor continuously collects and saves
patient data such as trends. Saving is activated when the
monitor receives vital signs.
Information is saved to:
•
Monitor memory
The most recent case is saved to the monitor memory if
neither the network or memory card is in use.
•
Data memory card (with N-XDNET option)
Up to 48 hours of information, depending on the data load,
can be saved to the Data card.
•
Network (with N-XNET or N-XDNET option)
When the monitor is connected to the monitor network,
cases from 2-90 days (depending on the configuration) can
be saved to it.
Adding patient identification data
1. Press the ComWheel and select
Patient Data
.
2. Select
Demographics
.
3. Enter patient height and weight.
The body surface area (BSA) is calculated automatically.
