5. Mouse click   on the buddy you would like to chat with and scroll down with the 

Mouse Pointer/Scroll 

 and click on IM (Instant Messenger) at the bottom of the 

screen. 

 

 

 
6.  Click on the text box to create a cursor (if not already there).  Type text and press enter 

to send the message. 

 

 

 

Tip: When using the instant messenger, instead of clicking on the Send button every time you type a message, 
simply press ‘Enter’ and the message will automatically be sent.
