Depending on the availability of your carrier, your phone and the specific plan that you have chosen from them, 
there are two possible configurations:

Data charged by minutes: formally known as 

Circuit Switch Data

 (CSD), which is data 

transmitted using your minutes. The advantage of this plan is that if you have unlimited 
nights and weekend minutes, you can navigate as much as you want during those ours. 

 

• 

Data charged by megabytes: also known as 

Packet Data

, which is data charged based 

on the amount of data transmitted, independent from your calling minutes. It becomes 
more economical in the long run, allowing you to read a full page for as long as you 
want.
