SE-900 FAQs
Q: How many inputs does the SE-900 accept?
A: Up to eight input boards can be installed in the SE-900 switcher.
Q: Can I mix SDI video with analog video?
A: SE-900 can switch between any of the available input signal types.
Q: Can I set up a multi-camera chromakey with the SE-900?
A: Yes, the switcher has four independent presets which can be
configured to key separate input sources, backgrounds and key colors.
Q: How much processing delay does the SE-900 have?
A: It depends on the incoming signal. For DV, the cameras themselves
have around a 3 to 5 frame delay (depending on manufacturer). The
SE-900 itself has a 3 frame delay when processing DV, so in total,
you will have a 6-8 frame (or 1/5 to 1/4 of a second) delay. If mixing
analog and/or SDI, the delay is only one frame, total.
Q: How far can the control panel be from the processor?
A: Without additional power, the control panel can be up to 10
meters away. With the included power adapter, the control panel can
be up to 20 meters from the main unit.
