Patient Leakage
1.
Lead to ground: Sink Current Patient circuit (Test V Model 431 Dempsey; patient leakage
with line voltage on leads).
2.
Connect the ground wire from the safety analyzer to the equipotential lug of the monitor.
3.
Connect the ECG cable from the Analyzer to the monitor.
4.
On the safety analyzer depress the “Apply 115 VAC” button and note the reading.
5.
Repeat the test for normal and open ground polarity combinations.
Specs: Verify the current readings of the test are below 50uA under a single fault condition.
