8500 Scanner

Good Read Beep Frequency

Adjusts the scanner’s good read beep to sound at low, medium, or high fre-
quency (controls the beeper’s pitch/tone).

•

Low = 660 Hz

•

Medium = 860 Hz

•

High = 1050 Hz

To set the Good Read Beep Frequency:

1. Scan the SWITCH barcode.

2. Scan your selection from the three barcodes below. You’ll need to

cover any unused barcodes on this and the facing page to ensure
that the scanner reads only the barcode you intend to scan.

3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the SWITCH

barcode.
