2.0 Wiring and Addressing Units within a Zone
2.0.1 Wiring
All communication wire must be at least 22 gauge twisted and shielded pair with a drain line. Up
to 16 units may be connected in any order (daisy chained). Unit addresses must be assigned at
start-up prior to wiring.
Each unit is connected through the unit’s control module pLAN connection (J11 - See dap4 Zone
Master wiring connection drawing for wiring details).
