Our compliments for your excellent choice. Your new electromechanical
barrier has been produced according to a high quality and strict
reliability, that’s why it will assure you long-lasting performance. This
booklet will offer you all the pieces of information you may need to
install your barrier and to safe guard your safety.
All our products have been made in conformity with the regulations
in force. We recommend using original part only, during the
installation and the upkeep. However, the caution is unquestionably
indispensable and nothing is better than preventing accidents.

Mportant
Any installation or repair, or adjustment of the working machinery
by unqualified people is strictly prohibited unless all the necessary
precautions: power supply disconnected (included possible batteries).
All moving mechanism must be provided with suitable protections.
DASPI is not responsible for any possible damages or injuries to
people, object or animals, caused by any use not provided for this
booklet and/or any unauthorized modification of the product. Keep
scrupulously this booklet enclosing it with technical brochure of
installation in a suitable place well-know by all the interested people.
You have to operate the elimination of the packing material (cardboard,
plastic, polystyrene, etc.) in conformity with the regulations in force,
remembering that for a child a plastic envelope could be extremely
dangerous. You have to teach the people employed in using the
automation about the control and security systems of the installation.
Don’t install this product in explosive places.

pkeep
For any kind of upkeep, you have always to cut off the power
supply.
For a correct upkeep of the installation where you have installed the
gear motor JENNY follow carefully these instructions:
Clean periodically the photocells.
Checking by qualified people the electronic clutch (see the paragraph
“Installation of the electronic central unit”).
Lubrificate periodically the guide and the wheel of the gate.
In case of malfunction going and seeing qualified people.

eMolition
You have to operate the elimination of the materials in conformity
with the regulations in force. All material must be divided by type
(copper, aluminium, plastic, electrical central unit). However there are
not material considered dangerous for the handler.
d
isMantling
In order to dismantle or to move away the automation, follow these
instructions:
Cut off the power supply and disconnect the electrical installation.
Dismantle the control console and all the other components of the
installation.
If you have noticed that some components have been damaged, you
have to replace them.
ProDuCt
The gear motor JENNY has been planned and built in order
to opening overhead garage door with a maximum size of
10 sqm. DASPI is not responsible for any anomalous and
different use of the gear motor JENNY.
IMPORTANT: The gear motor JENNY is not provided with
mechanical clutch and must be installed with its DASPI
control panel or with a control panel provided with electronic
clutch.
use oF tHe autoMatIon
As the automation can be controlled from the distance through
a remote control, you must always check the full efficiency of
all the safety devices. We recommend inspecting periodically
(every 6 Month) by qualified people the adjustment of the
electronic clutch. If you need to calibrate the protection
consult the paragraph “Adjustment of the electronical clutch”
in the instruction booklet of the electronic central unit.
PrelIMInarY CHeCks
• Read carefully the instruction.
• Check that the product has not been damage during the
transport.
• Check that the door structure is strong and correctly
balanced, and that during its movement there aren’t friction
points
• Check that the electrical installation is in accordance with
the characteristic required by the gear motor.
• Check that there is a suitable ground safety system and that
the metallic parts of the installation are connected.
• Check that the manual manoeuvre always is easily
practicable.
• Remember that the automation makes easy the use of the
door but don’t resolve the problems due to a defective
installation or to a faulty of upkeep.
luBrIFICatIon
The gear motor JENNY is provided with permanent
lubrification
InstallatIon
The automation with a central assembling of one gear motor
JENNY is recommended for overhead doors of size inferior
or equal to 10 sum (see the instructions “JENNY – Central
operator”).
For higher dimensions or for overhead doors with a pedestrian
door we recommend to use two lateral operators JENNY (see
the instructions “JENNY – lateral operators”).
WarnIng
In the last situation you have to install in the overhead door
a safety micro switch in order to avoid the functioning of the
operator when the pedestrian door is open.
Do not install only one operator JENNY in lateral position, this
could be compromise the stability of overhead door.
