Adjusting the Microphone Gain
To adjust the microphone gain:
01)
Turn the microphone housing (23) counterclockwise and remove it from the microphone body (24).
See Fig. 08 on page 13.
02)
Remove the plastic mini screwdriver (22) from the transmitter.
Turn the gain control (20) clockwise or counterclockwise with the plastic mini screwdriver (22) to
increase or decrease the gain control. See Fig. 12.

Place the microphone housing (23) on the microphone body (24) and turn it clockwise to tighten it.
Adjusting the Squelch Threshold
The squelch threshold is pre-set at the factory and normally it does not need to be adjusted. In case the
receiver picks up other signals besides the signal of the transmitter, follow the steps bellow to eliminate
the interference:
01)
Switch off the transmitter. See 5.2. Transmitter Switching ON/OFF on page 16. If there is noise, the
squelch threshold needs to be adjusted.
Use a screwdriver to turn the squelch A/B control (16)/(12) clockwise to increase the squelch
threshold for the respective channel.
Switch on the transmitter.
Makes sure that the receiver receives signal from the transmitter.
Note:
Increasing the squelch threshold decreases the transmission range. This may cause loss of signal from the
transmitter. Always adjust the squelch control to the lowest possible setting.
