With duct connection:
The sensor is to be placed as closely as possible to
the air exhaust in the duct and roughly in the middle
of the air stream.
3. Starting
Important!
The warm air heater may only be switched off by
means of the room thermostat or the burner
switch. Switching the unit off by means of an
external breaker might cause overheating and
thus damage to the burner chamber and heat
exchanger.
If the temperature for some reason rises above
80°C inside the unit the Limit thermostat will stop
the burner till the temperature has fallen below
80°C.
If the temperature inside the unit rises above
100°C the safety temperature limiter will switch
off all voltage to the unit so that burner and fan are
inactivated. When the unit has been cooled down
it will not start automatically. Re-starting will
follow by pressing the reset-button (1) on the
safety temperature limiter (SBT) (see fig. 9).
If one of the safety thermostats have switched off
the unit, see paragraph 5 „Fault Finding“.
When the warm air heater is connected to current the
green control light (1) in the control panel will light. If
not, see paragraph 5: „Fault Finding“ (fig. 10).
Then check the direction of rotation of the fan (the
direction of rotation of the fan is marked by an arrow
on the outside of the fan housing). If the direction does
not correspond to the direction indicated by the arrow
the two phases of the current connection have to be
reversed.
3.1 Winter Operation
A. The burner breaker (5) is put in position „I“ (fig. 10).
- If a room thermostat is connected to the models DV
45-300 the burner will be controlled automatically by
this thermostat, i.e. the burner will start automatically
