Dynamic IP address
If the ECL 310 is connected to a router that uses a dynamic
Internet IP address, a Dynamic DNS (Domain Name System)
service can be used to make the installation addressable from
a URL name in stead of an IP address. E.g.
“my_ecl_installation.com” instead of “193.162.34.195”.
Several companies provide dynamic DNS services. Searching
the internet for dynamic DNS providers can result in these
lists among others:

Ethernet network example
The following figure shows a more complex example of a
possible network installation. The example also shows the ECL
485 installation for master/slave function.
The installation is separated into two different groupings,
which could represent two different building blocks with a
single centralized Internet router.
