Operating instructions
11.1
Start up
When you power up the unit (by turning on the power supply), initially a buzzer sound will be heard and all indica-
tors appear on the display for 3 seconds. If there is no operation from the user for 1 minute, all indicators will go
out automatically except the WATER FILL indicator (which will be flashing as a reminder) and the tank’s tempera-
ture indicator.

To start the unit (the default mode is HYBRID), press the ON/OFF key. Press the ON/OFF key again, the WATER
FILL indicator will stop flashing, and you can continue to set other parameters. The unit will now be operational.
When the unit is running and there is no user operation or any malfunction for 1 minute, the backlight of the dis-
play will go out automatically (except operational mode and outlet temperature). The unit will automatically go
into a locked state and the lock indicator will also be displayed.
11.1.1
Unlocking user interface
In order to prevent unwanted user operations, a special lock function has been designed. If there is no operation
from the user or no errors in the system for 1 minute, the unit will automatically be locked, and a lock indicator is
displayed. When the user interface is locked, no keys except CANCEL can be operated.
CANCEL
To unlock the user interface (key pad), press the CANCEL key a couple of seconds . At the
screen protection of Display, press any key to active the display, and then press the CANCEL
key a couple of seconds to unlock it. The lock indicator will blank out and all keys can be used
again.
11.1.2
Clock set
The clock is designed for a 24-hour system and the initial time is set to 00:00. Set the time to the accurate local
time. Each time the unit is powered off, the clock will be reset to the initial time 00:00.
CLOCK
Press the CLOCK key, the minute digit of the clock on the display starts flashing slowly.
Press the UP or DOWN key, to adjust the minute setting.
