5.1. Getting Started
Install the CLX box as described in the previous section.
•
Connect the power supply to the box and the mains supply.
•
Use the display to configure the following. Press 'Enter', and then arrow down until
configuration appears, then 'Enter' again to enter 'Configuration':
-
Date and time setting
-
Network scan for connected inverters
For further information regarding network configuration, refer to the available man-
uals. At delivery, the network configuration is set to DHCP.
•
For configuration of grid management via the web interface, refer to the available
manuals.
•
The CLX Portal and the Danfoss SolarApp require an internet connection.
•
Use the LAN cable (included in the scope of delivery) to connect the LAN interface of
your CLX box to a free port on your internet router.
Note:
Detailed configuration of power management is done via the grid management menu of the
web interface.
Note:
Network settings - Dynamic IP address (DHCP)
This requires a DHCP server in the local network. In this case, the CLX box obtains its net-
work settings from the DHCP server.
5.1.1. Registering the CLX Box on the CLX Portal
Upload to the CLX Portal is enabled either via the display or the integrated web server. To ena-
ble it via the display, select [Portal
→
Connect now]. If successful, the CLX box is now connec-
ted to the CLX Portal. Upon completion of the registration process, including registration at
clxportal.danfoss.com when creating a plant, the serial number and the mac address of the CLX
box are needed if the serial number is in the format 075201P222. The serial number and the
mac address can be found either on the label on the back of the CLX box or via [Settings
→
About] on the Danfoss SolarApp.
