d) To close Open Applications
One click on the Open Applications button lets you display the list of applications
that are currently open. To close the desired application(s), slide the small corresponding
application window to the left or right while maintaining finger pressure.
6. The Android Home screen has four areas.
1) At the bottom you can see different icons. They are in fact virtual buttons allowing you to
control the Volume, Window button to select another applications running in the back,
Screen caps to take a picture, Home and Return buttons.
2) A virtual dock where you can drag & drop the icons of your favorites applications for a
quick access.
3) The clock is now located at top right corner of your screen. When you keep you finger on
it and slide down a new panel appears. You now have access to the basics settings like Wifi,
Brightness, Rotation, Settings, Batterie level, Airplane mode.
4) The notifications panel (Date et Time ; Mails ; Update ; Running application) is located at
the top left corner of your screen. Simply place your finger and slide down to open the
notifications panel.
To delete one notification simply slide to the left or right.
Slide down to close the
application.
