Red pixel alignment corrects for certain image artifacts that may occur due to sensor alignment.

Before applying red pixel alignment correction, ensure that the system is
mechanically setup as best as possible and the

automatic white balance

is applied.

To correct for red pixel artifacts:

Set the

Align Red Pixels

feature to Active.

Set the

Align Red Threshold

feature (default= 75). The threshold determines how many

pixels are processed.

Use the

Align Red X Shift

and

Align Red Y Shift

features to fine-tune the correction (default

= 0.5). The necessary values depend on the sensor direction and the target scene.
