Please read the installation instructions carefully before installing the product and observe them.
Area of application
The anti-flooding valve serves to prevent the backflow of waste water in case of backwater. In case of backwater its
stainless steel flaps close the water pipeline itself.
Additionally you can close the pipeline by an emergency closure. The anti-flooding valve must always be in operative
condition and easy of access.
The emergency closure should be closed in case of non used waterpipes for longer time.
This drainage system is to be operated and maintained according to DIN 1986-3 and DIN 1986-30.
Note:
We are advising that backwater closures in compliance with DIN EN 12056 Part 1 to 5 may only be used in
compliance with the local construction regulations and the following installation criteria:
*The spaces have a lower ranking use, which means that no significant material values or the health of the residents will
be impacted if the spaces flood.
*The use of the drain points can be waved in case of backwater.
*Only drain points that are located below the backwater level may be routed through the backwater closure. If the
installation of the backwater does not correspond with the criteria listed above, we cannot offer a warranty for the
product.
Dallmer is not liable for any damage as a result of backwater.
Operation
Compliance with accident prevention regulations, applicable DIN standards and guidelines and the regulations issued by
the local power supply company is mandatory for installation, operation, maintenance or repair of the system.
No repair or service work may be carried out while backwater is expected or existing.
Inspection
The operator and his agents must inspect the backwater closure monthly. Repeatedly close and open the emergency
closure with the manual lock to achieve free movement.
Maintenance
A qualified technician must maintain the backwater closure semi-annually. During maintenance, the antiflooding valve
must not be charged with waste water.
