Damage to the device due to improper power supply
Damage to electronic components or serious malfunctions

Always ensure the correct polarity when connecting an external
DC power supply unit.

Do not operate the device with Power over Ethernet (PoE) if the
device is powered by an external DC power supply unit.
Damage to the device or malfunctions due to the lack of or im-
proper grounding/earthing
Damage to electronic components caused by lightning strikes and
over-voltages (electrical surges) or malfunctions due to electro-
magnetic interferences

Carry out all protective measures for a standard-compliant
earthing/grounding and a correct equipotential bonding of the
device in accordance with the currently applicable DIN, VDE and
ISO standards in order to ensure the safety of the device (pro-
tection against over-voltages) and its immunity to electromag-
netic interferences (EMI).
