Additional weight on the discs 

Retro-fitting 

For dry and extra-hard conditions, it can help to mount up to 3 weights of 2.4 kg 

per disc. This will increase the total weight of the disc harrow by up to 120 

kg/metre working width. By mounting the weights, it will be easier for the discs to 

till the hard and dry soil at the desired working depth at the first attempt.

See the spare parts book for item numbers of the weights with corresponding 

bolts. 

 

It is important to mount all the weights correctly and with the right bolt length. 

This ensures the weights are not lost when working in the field or during 

transportation by road.
