Replacement of the cotter
If no crane is available, both axles on the side sections must be removed to prevent the
drum overturning.

The machine is folded out in work
position.
2.
Soil remains (A) in between the cotter
blades must be cleaned/removed.
3.
The protective plate is removed between
the blades to get to the blade bolts.
4.
The blades can now be de-bolted and
removed.
Mounting the blades
1.
The blade is mounted with the new carriage bolts and used according
to
the
sketch below. The arrow is pointing forward.
2.
Finally, the protective plates are mounted between the blades.

There must be no persons within the operating radius when/if the hydraulic system is
activated.
