What’s the HOME LEAVE operation?
Is there a set temperat u re and air flo w rate that is most comforta b le, a set temperat u re and air flo w rate
that yo u u se the most? HOME LEA V E operation is a f u nction that allo w s yo u to record yo u r fa v orite set
temperat u re and air flo w rate. Yo u can start yo u r fa v orite operation mode simply b y pressing the HOME
LEA V E bu tton on the remote controller. This f u nction is con v enient in the follo w ing sit u ations.
Useful in these cases
1. Use as an ener g y-savin g mode.
Set the temperat u re 4-5°F higher (cooling) or lo w er (heating) than normal. Setting the fan strength to the lo w est
setting allo w s the u nit to b e u sed in energy-sa v ing mode. Also con v enient for u se w hile yo u are o u t or sleeping.
2. Use as a favorite mode.
Once yo u record the temperat u re and air flo w rate settings yo u most often u se, yo u can retrie v e them b y
pressing HOME LEA V E bu tton. Yo u do not ha v e to go u se remote controller operations.
NOTE
• Once the temperat u re and air flo w rate for HOME LEA V E operation are set, those settings
w ill b e u sed w hene v er HOME LEA V E operation is u sed in the f u t u re. To change these
settings, please refer to the “Before u sing HOME LEA V E operation” section a b o v e.
• HOME LEA V E operation is only a v aila b le in COOL and HEAT mode. Cannot b e u sed in
AUTO, DRY, and FA N mode.
• HOME LEA V E operation r u ns in accordance w ith the pre v io u s operation mode (COOL or
HEAT) b efore u sing HOME LEA V E operation.
• HOME LEA V E operation and PO W ERFUL operation cannot b e u sed at the same time.
Last bu tton that w as pressed has priority.
• The operation mode cannot b e changed w hile HOME LEA V E operation is b eing u sed.
• W hen operation is sh u t off d u ring HOME LEA V E operation, u sing the remote controller or the
indoor u nit O N /OFF s w itch, “ ” w ill remain on the remote controller display.
W hen yo u go o u t, p u sh the “HOME
LEA V E Operation” bu tton, and the
air conditioner w ill adj u st capacity
to reach the preset temperat u re for
HOME LEA V E Operation.
W hen yo u ret u rn, yo u w ill b e
w elcomed b y a comforta b ly air
conditioned room.
P u sh the “HOME LEA V E
Operation” bu tton again, and the
air conditioner w ill adj u st capacity
to the set temperat u re for normal
operation.
Set the u nit to HOME LEA V E
Operation b efore lea v ing the li v ing
room w hen going to b ed.
The u nit w ill maintain the
temperat u re in the room at a
comforta b le le v el w hile yo u sleep.
W hen yo u enter the li v ing room in the
morning, the temperat u re w ill b e j u st right.
Disengaging HOME LEA V E Operation w ill
ret u rn the temperat u re to that set for
normal operation. E v en the coldest w inters
w ill pose no pro b lem!
