4-4. Wall embedded pipin g .

1) Insert the drain hose to this depth so it w on’t b e
p u lled o u t of the drain pipe.
WARNING
Do not bu ndle the po w er code w ith a b inding b and, a t w ist tie or other method.
This may ca u se heat, electric shock or fire.

Wirin g .
1) Strip the ins u lation from the w ire (3/4 inch (20mm)).
2) Match w ire colo u rs w ith terminal n u m b ers on indoor and o u tdoor u nit’s terminal b locks and firmly scre w w ires to the
corresponding terminals.
3) Connect the earth w ires to the corresponding terminals.
4) P u ll the w ires to make s u re that they are sec u rely connected, and retain the w ires w ith the b inding b and as sho w n in the
ill u stration b elo w .
5) In case of connecting to an adapter system. R u n the remote controller ca b le and attach the S21.
(Refer to 6. Connectin g to the HA system .)
6) Shape the w ires so that the ser v ice lid fits sec u rely, then close ser v ice lid.
WARNING
1) Do not u se tapped w ires, strand w ires, extension cords, or star bu rst connections, as they may ca u se o v erheating, electrical
shock, or fire.
2) Do not u se locally p u rchased electrical parts inside the prod u ct. (Do not b ranch the po w er for the drain p u mp, etc., from the
terminal b lock.) Doing so may ca u se electric shock or fire.
3) W hen carrying o u t w iring connection, take care not to p u ll at the cond u it.
