For this type, install the adaptor PCB w ithin the indoor u nit. The method of
installation and connection v ary depending on the model of the air
conditioner. See yo u r air conditioner installation man u al for details.

Use the 3 s u pplied scre w s to attach the case assy .

Install the adaptor case assy as close to the indoor u nit as possi b le.

Remo v e the scre w co v er, one of the scre w s
and then the case front.
Attach the case b ack to the s u rface b y
tightening the scre w s thro u gh the scre w
holes (one ro u nd hole, t w o long holes).
After connecting the ca b les (refer to the follo w ing sections), replace the
case front. Be caref u l not to damage the w iring in the case.

2 Usin g securin g tape (to attach on the indoor unit)
Attach the adaptor case w ith the s u pplied sec u ring tape.
Remo v e the case front (as for mo u nting on a w all).
After connecting the ca b les (see the follo w ing sections), replace the
case front. It can b e scre w ed to the case b ack from the rear w ith the
fo u r s u pplied scre w s.
Be caref u l not to damage the w iring in the case.
Attach the hook side (loop side) of the incl u ded sec u ring tape to the rear
s u rface of the HA case, then attach the loop side (hook side) to the top of
the air conditioner u nit spaced at the same inter v als.

To pre v ent the adaptor case assy from falling, do not u se the sec u ring
tape for attaching it to a w all or other s u rface.
