Vacuum clean

Do not use water

•

Remove dust on the filter from the face without tag

using a vacuum cleaner.

(Please be careful because the filter is easily damage.)

•

If the filter is damaged or pores are enlarged, dust will

pass through the filter and this caused the capacity for

dust collection to be reduced.

About every 10 years

Replace

About part replacement timing

•

Replacement timing depends on usage patterns and the

location of the unit.

If the unit is used daily in a home where 5 cigarettes are

smoked a day, the filter should be replaced about every

10 years. (Calculation based on testing method of

Japan Electrical Manufacturers Association JEM1467

standard.)

If the impurity content of the ambient air is high, the filter

will need more frequent replacement.

If the filter is failing to perform, it is time to replace it.

About purchasing and disposal

•

Refer to “Separately Sold Part”.
