15 Unit installation
In this chapter
15.1 Preparing the installation site
Do NOT install the unit in places often used as work place. In case of construction
works (e.g. grinding works) where a lot of dust is created, the unit MUST be
covered.
Choose an installation location with sufficient space for carrying the unit in and out
of the site.
15.1.1 Installation site requirements of the outdoor unit

Provide sufficient space around the unit for servicing and air circulation. See

Make sure the installation site withstands the weight and vibration of the unit.
▪
Make sure the area is well ventilated. Do NOT block any ventilation openings.
▪
Make sure the unit is level.
▪
Select a place where rain can be avoided as much as possible.
▪
Select the location of the unit in such a way that the sound generated by the unit
does not disturb anyone, and the location is selected according the applicable
legislation.
▪
Heat exchanger fins are sharp and injury is possible. Choose an installation
location where there is no risk for injury (especially in areas where children play).
