Adjusting the Airflow Direction
You can adjust the airflow direction to increase your comfort.
Adjusting the upper and lower airflow direction
To adjust the flap (horizontal blade)
1.
Press

“
” is displayed on the LCD and the flap will begin to swing.
2.
When the flap has reached the desired position,
press
once more.
• The flap will stop moving.
•
“ ” disappears from the LCD.
Adjusting the right and left airflow direction
To adjust the louvers (vertical blades)
Hold the knob and move the louvers.
(You will find a knob on the left-side and the right-side blades.)
NOTE
Note on flap and louvers angle
•
Unless “SWING” is selected, you should set the flap at a near-horizontal angle in FAN or HEAT
operation and at a upward position in COOL or DRY operation to obtain the best performance.

CAUTION
•
Do not try to adjust the flap by hand.
If the flap is adjusted by hand, the mechanism may not operate properly or condensation may drip from the air outlet. If the flap is adjusted
without using the remote controller, turn off the unit once, and use the remote controller to restart the unit.
•
Be careful when adjusting the louvers. Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.
•
While the outdoor unit is not in operation because the indoor temperature becomes higher (or lower) than the set temperature, the flap will
come to a stop.
