Terminal numbers of outdoor and indoor units must be matched.

Connect the remote controller only to the master unit.

The remote controller needs to be wired only to the master unit; it does not need to be connected to the
slave units through transition wiring. (Do not connect transition wiring to the slave units.)

The indoor temperature sensor is effective only for indoor units to which the remote controller is con-
nected.

The length of wiring between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit varies depending on the connected
model, the number of connected units, and the maximum piping length.

• Group control:
1 remote controller controls up to 16 indoor units
(All indoor units operate according to the remote controller).

When implementing group control
•
When using as a pair unit or as a master unit for simultaneous multiple unit operation, you may carry out
simultaneous start/stop (group) control up to 16 units with the remote controller.

In this case, all the indoor units in the group will operate in accordance with the group control remote con-
troller.
•
Select a remote controller which matches as many of the functions in the group as possible.
