(3) Pull the entire name plate mount toward yourself and
remove one side.
(4) Do the same to the remaining 2 places. (C and D)
(5) Remove the entire name plate.
(The name plate mount is no longer required.)
• Installation of receiver assembly
After passing the wire harness of the receiver assembly (1)
through the penetrating hole, set the receiver assembly (1)
in the direction shown by the arrow.
(Fix the receiver assembly (1) after matching the projection
of the receiver assembly (1) and notch of the bottom plate.)
4-5. Installation of transmission PC-board assembly
(1) Remove the control box and its lid mounted at the rear
of the unit.
(2) Mount the transmission PC-board assembly (2) on the
right side of the indoor unit. Insert the projection of the
transmission PC-board assembly (2) into the socket.
(Both right and left)
(3) Connect the wire harness attached to the receiver
assembly (1) to the connector (X1A) on the transmis-
sion PC-board assembly (2).
Bind the wire harness and the lead wires of the swing
motor with the clamp (11).
(4) Connect the wire harness (3) to the connector (X2A) on
the transmission PC-board assembly (2).
(5) Wire the wire harness (3) between the transmission
PC-board assembly (2) and the control box. (Make
sure to clamp the wires with the clamp.)
(6) Connect the wire harness (3) to the connector (for
SPLIT X24A and for VRV X23A) on the PC-board
assembly mounted inside the control box. (Make sure
to clamp the wires with the clamp material. Wire har-
ness (3) around the PC-board assembly should wire so
that there is no slack. Slack surplus wire harness out-
side the control box.)
(7) Attach the control box and its lid back to their place.
(8) Attach the suction grille, the decoration panel and the
protection net according to the installation manual
attached to the indoor unit.
(9) After the installation, turn on the power.
4-6. Setting the address of wireless remote controller
(It is factory set to “1”.)

button for at least 4 seconds to get the FIELD SET
MODE. (Indicated in the display area in the figure at top.)
(2) Press the “
” button and select a multiple setting
(A/b). Each time the button is pressed the display
switches between “A” and “b”.

” button to set the
address.
Address can be set from 1 to 6, but set it from 1 to 3 and
to same address as the receiver. (The receiver does
not work with address from 4 to 6.)
