Repair procedures
To remove the crankcase heater
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite:
Remove the required plate work, see

Remove the compressor sound insulation.

Detach the spring that fixes the crankcase heater on the
compressor.

Disconnect the crankcase heater connector from the main PCB.

Cut all tie straps that fix the crankcase heater harness.

Install the crankcase heater on the compressor.

Attach the spring to fix the crankcase heater.

Route the crankcase heater harness towards the switch box.
4
Connect the crankcase heater connector to the main PCB.
WARNING
When reconnecting a connector to the PCB, do NOT apply
force, as this may damage the connector or connector pins
of the PCB.

Fix the crankcase heater harness using new tie straps.
INFORMATION
Replace all cable ties that were cut during removal.
Is the problem solved?

Current loop PCB
2.10.1
Checking procedures
To perform an electrical check of the current loop
PCB
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite:
Remove the required plate work, see

Connect the D‑checker tool to the X10A connector on the hydro
PCB.

Check the communication between the extension PCB and the
hydro PCB. For example:
▪ Read out of tank temperature for monobloc unit.
3
If the communication between the extension PCB and hydro
PCB is correct, the current loop PCB is functioning correctly.
Current loop PCB is
functioning correctly?
Action
Yes
Return to the troubleshooting of
the specific error and continue
with the next step.
No
Replace the current loop PCB,

Repair procedures
To remove the current loop PCB
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite:
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite:
Remove the required plate work, see

Disconnect all connectors from the current loop PCB.

Carefully pull the current loop PCB and unlatch the PCB
supports one by one using a small pliers.

Remove the current loop PCB from the switch box.

To install the current loop PCB, see

To install the current loop PCB
1
Install the current loop PCB in the correct location in the switch
box.

Latch the PCB supports using a small pliers to fix the current
loop PCB.
3
Connect all connectors to the current loop PCB.
