The child lock feature prevents children from accidentally starting or using the oven. It does not lock the door.

To lock or unlock the controls, press and hold the Stop/Cancel button for 3 seconds. While the control panel is
locked, “Loc” will be displayed briefly when any button is pressed. 

To stop cooking, either open the door or press the Stop/Cancel button. To resume cooking, close the door and press
the Start button.

If you see arcing, press 

Stop/Cancel 

button and correct the problem.

Arcing is the microwave term for sparks in the oven. Arcing is caused by:
• Metal or foil touching the side of the oven.
• Foil not molded to food (upturned edges act like antennas).
• Metal, such as twist-ties, poultry pins, or gold rimmed dishes, in the microwave.
• Recycled paper towels containing small metal pieces being used in the microwave.

Power save mode is designed to save energy by turning the display off when not in use, and will automatically
be activated whenever the oven hasn’t been touched in 10 minutes. The power save mode will be cancelled
when you press a button, turn a dial or open the oven door.

To remind you that you have food in the oven, the oven beep once a minute for 5 minutes and display “End”
until you either open the oven door or press any button.
