Registering another type of handset to your phone
At the base:
1. Press and hold until you hear a beep, then release it.
The base will now remain in registration mode for 90 seconds, during which time you will need to
complete the registration procedure shown in the other manufacturer’s user manual.
Registering your phone handset to another base
1. Follow the instructions shown in the other manufacturer’s guide to put the base into
registration mode.
2. Follow steps 2 to 6 of ‘Registering a new phone handset’ to register the handset.
Select a base
If your phone handset is registered to more than one base, you can select which base to use.
Alternatively, if you select Auto your handset will automatically select the base with the best
reception.
1. Press to open the main menu.
2. Press or until
Register is displayed, then press .
3. Press or to highlight Select Base and press .
4. Press or to select a base number (1 to 4) or select Auto and press to confi rm.
5. Press repeatedly to exit and return to standby.
De-register a handset
1. Press to open the main menu.
2. Press or until
Setup is displayed, then press .
3. Press or to select Del Handset and press .
4. Enter the 4 digit PIN code, then press .
5. Enter the number of the handset to be removed (1–5). You will hear a tone to confi rm the
handset has been de-registered.
6. Press repeatedly to exit and return to standby.
